Raising awareness and funding for melanoma research, one community event at a time.

Bowl-A-Noma is a non-profit dedicated to furthering research into the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of melanoma through community activation.

As both an awareness and fundraising organization, we bring communities together via bowling events so we can Strike Out Cancer and Spare A Life.

HONORING

ELLIOTT HATHAWAY HULL

Bowl-A-Noma is a testament to the enduring spirit of love, resilience, and compassion that defines the legacy of Elliott Hull.

Elliott lived a life rooted in service. From safeguarding Seattle’s beaches as a lifeguard, to bravely serving in Afghanistan with the United States Army Airborne Infantry, his commitment to others knew no bounds. He helped countless individuals achieve the milestone of homeownership, inspired friends to pursue healthier lives, and showed up—fully and generously—for everyone around him. Above all, his greatest devotion was to his son, wife, and family, whom he loved with boundless joy.

At just 35 years old, Elliott was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma, a devastating diagnosis for which no life-prolonging treatment options were available at the time. Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team and the unwavering support of his loved ones, Elliott’s courageous battle ended only four months later.

In the wake of profound loss, Richard, Louise, and Amelia came together with an unyielding determination to honor Elliott’s life by fighting back against the disease that took him. Their shared mission was clear: to advance melanoma research, raise awareness, and build community through action.

From that love and resolve, Bowl-A-Noma was born, a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to turning grief into purpose and hope into progress. Through annual fundraising events and partnerships with leading research institutions, Bowl-A-Noma continues to strike for awareness, funding, and ultimately, a cure.

Bowling is for everyone! It doesn’t matter if you are a “good bowler.” We get together, we have fun, we raise money, and we bowl.

We are stronger when we're together. Bowl-A-Noma unites communities under a common cause: together, we can raise funds and awareness, end melanoma, and save countless lives.
